Where do I work?
The phrase “Your Wedding, Your Way, Your Venue” is key to what I do, but where?
I am centered on Tarrant, Parker, Wise, Johnson, and Denton counties of North Texas.
I also perform weddings in a limited selection of parts of western Dallas and Collin counties along
with parts of Palo Pinto and Hood counties too.

Preferred Vendor Lists
I love to be on a venue “preferred” or “recommended” vendors list as this usually means the staff have seen me at work and at their venue and like me and what I do. They know that to recommend a vendor – any vendor – that means they MUST deliver the goods for you, the couple.
There is one exception to this and it is the “paid for” “approved vendor” lists. These lists are really just adverts and consist of those who do not earn a place on them. I do not, never have and never will pay for inclusion on a preferred vendor list. There is at least one major chain of wedding venues that requires a vendor to pay for inclusion on their lists operating in the area. The ONLY requirement to be on that list was to pay for it.
Do they really care about how good a vendor is or only about his willingness to pay a fee?
I’d much rather talk about those venues that prefer to use QUALITY as the one and only defining reason for being on their lists. you can always get in touch with me to discuss your wedding by clicking the button here:
My favorite venues?
So many places to talk about, but lets limit ourselves to those close or about 30 minutes maximum drive from my home. The first ten (in no particular order) that come to mind are:
- The Marty Leonard Community Chapel.
- The Orchard Azle.
- A&M Gardens.
- Azle Deer Cove.
- Stoney Ridge Villa.
- Fort Worth Country Memories.
- The Heirloom Hideaway & Arboreum.
- Crystal Oaks Events.
- Hidden Gardens Event Venue.
- Hollow Hill Event Center.
There are more venues than this for a wedding close to where I live, but I have to limit them to those close enough to my home, so that I can quickly drive there if needed.
More about the “top 3” venues on my list are below.

The Marty Leonard Community Chapel.
The staff at The Marty Leonard chapel know that I go way over and above the call of duty to make a wedding as a good as I possibly can.
You only need to talk to ANY of the staff at the chapel about “The English officiant, Rev Brian” and you’ll get such a great recommendation, I wish EVERYONE could get married there!
The building is a fantastic example of how a venue should be. It was built using classical principles to deliver outstanding sound. The architect, E. Fay Jones is the 48th recipient of the American Institute of Architect’s most prestigious award, the Gold Medal, which was presented to him by President George Bush. This has to be the best indoor chapel for a wedding in the Fort Worth area.
The Orchard, Azle.
I am also on the vendors list at The Orchard Azle. They featured me in the cover photo gallery on their website from back in 2017.
I have been performing weddings for over a decade and a half now and some years I can be there nearly every month. I have extensive experience of performing weddings at all these locations on the property:
- The main pergola.
- The plaza (next to the reception hall).
- The Pecan Room (behind the reception hall).
- The Pavilion and Arbor.
By the way, if you want a bargain of a venue in the area, the Pavilion and Arbor is fantastic value any day of the week and is even more of a great value on Fridays and Sundays if your guests can’t make a Saturday.
If you use the Pavilion and Arbor, a good tip is to make a large sign for your guests to see as they drive in to the property with TURN RIGHT HERE for your wedding.
A&M Gardens Azle.
The venues themselves see all kinds of officiants and only those that meet the strict standards they hold us to get onto the recommended vendor lists.
I try to be helpful , and go far “over and above” to make a wedding wonderful.
A&M Gardens love my work so much that they even included a photo of me on the front cover of their brochure from a few years back.
Oh yes, and that photo on the left (is the brochure cover) is also on the A&M website.
